Participating Universities

The PhD Program in Educational Studies is offered jointly by three Nova Scotia universities: Acadia University, Mount Saint Vincent University, and St. Francis Xavier University.

Based on their chosen program of study and the location of their PhD Supervisor, students take the joint program as a student of one of the three participating universities (their “home” university). The participating universities share in the delivery of the courses and other components of the degree.

St. Francis Xavier University (StFX)

Located in the historic Nova Scotia town of Antigonish, StFX offers Graduate Studies in Education with a focus on Educational Administration, Leadership, Curriculum Studies, and Adult Education.
